AdCards may disclose your campaign and advertising content, and all information associated with your advertising, to a governmental entity or body if we are summoned to assist in a lawful investigation and legally obliged to do so.
Our Advertising Campaign Policies (ACP) provide guidance on what types of campaigns we can place with our providers. When you, the Client, place an order or want to use our Platform (AdCards), each order is reviewed against these policies.
Before adverts appear on platforms such as Facebook or Instagram, they're reviewed to make sure that they meet our and the provider’s Advertising Policies. Typically, most adverts are reviewed within 24 hours, although in some cases, it may take longer.
During the Advertising Campaign (“Campaign”) review process, we'll check your advert's images, text, targeting and positioning, in addition to the content on your advert's landing page or pages. Your Campaign may not be approved if the landing page content isn't fully functional, does not match the product/service promoted in your advert or doesn't fully comply with our Advertising Policies.
Illegal products or services: campaigns must not constitute, facilitate or promote banned or illegal products, services or activities. Adverts targeted to minors must not promote products, services or content that are inappropriate, illegal or unsafe, or that exploit, mislead or exert undue pressure on the age groups targeted.
Tobacco products: campaigns must not promote the sale or use of tobacco products and related paraphernalia. Drugs and drug-related products: campaigns must not promote the sale or use of illegal, prescription or recreational drugs.
Unsafe supplements: campaigns must not promote the sale or use of unsafe supplements, as determined by AdCards at its sole discretion.
Weapons, ammunition or explosives: campaigns must not promote the sale or use of weapons, ammunition or explosives. This includes ads for weapon modification accessories or blueprints that allow for weapons to be created or modified so they act as live weapons.
Third-party infringement: campaigns and media used for campaigns must not contain content that infringes on or violates the rights of any third party, including copyright, trademark, privacy, publicity or other personal or proprietary rights. To report content that you feel may infringe upon or violate your rights, please contact us using the details provided.
Sensational or violent content: campaigns must not contain shocking, sensational, disrespectful or excessively violent content.
Non-functional landing page: campaigns, banners and adverts must not direct people to non-functional landing pages. This includes landing page content that interferes with a person's ability to navigate away from the page or pages that result in pop-ups or scripts that result in an effective lock-in to the page. This is strictly enforced and will result in your account being suspended. Non-existent functionality: campaigns must not contain images that portray non-existent functionality.
Personal health: campaigns must not contain "before-and-after" images or images that contain unexpected or unlikely results. Advert content must not imply or attempt to generate a negative self-perception in order to promote dietary, weight loss or other health-related products. Adverts for health, fitness or weight loss products must be targeted to people aged 18 years or older.
Counterfeit documents: adverts may not promote fake documents, such as counterfeit degrees, passports or immigration papers. Spyware, malware or hidden crypto mining or unauthorised processor usage: Adverts must not contain spyware, malware or any software that results in an unexpected or deceptive experience. This includes links to sites containing these products.
Unauthorised streaming devices: adverts must not promote products or items that facilitate or encourage unauthorised access to digital media or that facilitate copyright breach. Prohibited adult content: campaigns must not contain or promote prohibited or illegal adult content.
Prohibited or Unlicensed Financial Products and Services: campaigns and adverts must not promote financial products and services that are frequently associated with misleading or deceptive promotional practices or products and services that are not licensed or authorised or regulated.
Online pharmacies: campaigns must not promote the sale of prescription pharmaceuticals
Alcohol: AdCards does not advertise or accept any campaigns that advertise alcohol and alcoholic beverages
Real money gambling: campaigns that promote or facilitate online real money gambling, real money games of skill or real money lotteries, including online real money casinos, sport books, bingo or poker.
Restricted campaigns are subject to prior written approval from AdCards. Below we will provide a list of products and services that are restricted:
Supplements: campaigns that promote acceptable dietary and herbal supplements may only target people who are at least 18 years of age.
